ONGC Recruitment 2022: Vacancy for 3614 Apprentice Positions, Stipend Upto Rs 9,000
Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has issued a job advertisement for over 3600 apprentice positions. Candidates interested in pursuing apprenticeship training with ONGC should apply on the official website at ongcindia.com. The last date to apply is May 15, till 6 pm.
The recruitment drive intends to fill 3614 positions, with 209 in the Northern Sector, 305 in the Mumbai Sector, 1434 in the Western Sector, 744 in the Eastern Sector, 694 in the Southern Sector, and 228 in the Central Sector. According to the official notification, the positions and number of seats available are tentative and subject to change based on the needs of the work centre.
ONGC Apprentice Recruitment 2022: Eligibility
Candidates in the age group of 18 to 24 years as on May 15, 2022 are eligible to apply. The relaxation in upper age limit for reserved categories are applicable, as per the rules.
Various posts are open at present and the education qualification varies for different posts. Aspirants are advised to go through the official notification provided below before applying. Remember, candidates can apply only for one location and one post. Applications with multiple choices would be summarily rejected.
Also, distance education degrees recognized by UGC/ AICTE or statutory body is also acceptable. As for the Trade Certificates, they should have been acquired from respective ITIs/ Technical Institutions recognized by State Board of Technical Education (SBTE)/National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).
Also, Trade Certificate in Wireman is not acceptable for where Trade Certificate in Electrician is prescribed. BA, B.Com and BBA degrees should be from the UGC recognized universities/ programmes

ONGC Recruitment 2022 Selection Procedure
For the selection of Apprentices, marks obtained in the qualifying examination and merit drawn would be considered. In the case of a comparable number of merits, a person with a higher age will be considered. Any canvassing or influencing would not be acceptable and may result in nonconsideration.

Candidates must be between 18 and 24 years of age as of May 15, 2022, in order to apply for the positions listed above.
