JNV Selection Test for admission to Class-VI in JNVs for the academic session 2020-21 will be held on Saturday, the 11th January 2019 at 11:15 A.M. in one phase for all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas
పరీక్ష విధానం
ఈ ప్రవేశ పరీక్ష మూడు విభాగాలుగా ఉంటుంది.ప్రతి విభాగంలో లఘు ప్రశ్నలు (ఆబ్జెక్టివ్‌ టైప్‌) ఉంటాయి.
మేధాశక్తిపై 50 మార్కులకు 50 ప్రశ్నలు 60 నిమిషాల కాలవ్యవధి ఉంటుంది. గణితంపై 25 ప్రశ్నలు 25 మార్కులకు 30 నిమిషాల కాలవ్యవధి, భాషా పరిజ్ఞానంపై 25 ప్రశ్నలకు 25 మార్కులు 30 నిమిషాల కాలవ్యవధి ఉంటుంది.
మొత్తం 2 గంటలలో మూడు విభాగాల ప్రశ్నలతో బుక్‌లెట్‌ అందజేస్తారు. సమాధాన పత్రంలోనే (ఐసీఆర్‌/ఓసీఆర్‌) అభ్యర్థులు సమాధానాలను అంకెల రూపంలో నమోదు చేయాలి.
ప్రతి ప్రశ్నకు నాలుగు సమాధానాలు ఉంటాయి. అందులో అసలైనది గుర్తించి ఆ ప్రశ్నకు సంబంధించిన అంకె రాయాలి.
మేధాశక్తి పరీక్షలో ప్రశ్నలు బొమ్మల రూపంలో ఉంటాయి.
HOW TO APPLY FOR JNV SELECTION TEST
The online application form for admission to Class VI in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is self-explanatory. However, following guidelines may be specifically kept in view by the students and their parents/guardians.1. Please read the Prospectus carefully. Fill in complete information after ensuring that the candidate fulfills all the prescribed requirements such as date of birth within specified range (01.05.2007 to 30.04.2011- both days are inclusive), schooling in classes III, IV & V in recognized institution(s). (Govt. / Govt. Aided / Recognized / NIOS).
2. Carefully fill the certificate to be uploaded along with the application form with regard to category i.e. General, SC, ST, OBC & Divyang. In case at the time of admission, it is found that a candidate has opted SC/ST though he/she does not actually belong to SC/ST community, his/her selection is liable to be cancelled.

3. (a) Mention the date of birth in figures as well as in words. Write correct date of birth as per school records. In case, if it is observed at a later stage that the date of birth of the candidate does not match with the school records his/her candidature is liable to be rejected.
(b) Permanent identification marks which can be identified clearly shall be mentioned in the application form by the candidate.
4. Signature of both, the candidate and the father / guardian should be uploaded while applying for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test.
5. The last date to submit online application for test is 15.09.2019
Issue of Admit Cards
The admit card will be made available with effect from 1st March 2019 on application portal which shall be downloaded free of cost by the candidates/parents before the conduct of JNVST.
Result of the Selection Test
The result of JNV Selection Test 2020 is expected to be announced by the last week of May 2020 for all JNVs. The result will be displayed in the offices of the concerned
DOCOMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED AFTER SELECTION
The parents of the candidates who qualify the Selection Test will have to submit the following documents at the time of admission for verification: -Residence Certificate in prescribed proforma in case of NIOS study only
Proof for date of birth.
Proofs for eligibility as per the conditions of NVS.
For candidates seeking admission under rural quota, the parents will also have to submit a certificate to the effect that the child had studied in an Institution located in a notified rural area.
