ORDER :
All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and all the District Educational Ofcers in the State are invited to reference read above, wherein the Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare, Andhra Pradesh has informed that the IFA PINK tablets are being supplied to the School Children on every Thursday and the usage of IFA PINK tablets should be 100% in the schools to overcome the iron defciency in the children.
Further, the Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare, Andhra Pradesh has informed that at present the ANMs and ASHA workers are supplying the IFA PINK tablets to the schools but the school Teachers/Head Masters are not properly coordinating with the health staf in IFA PINK tablets usage by the children in the schools, due to which all the school children are not consuming IFA PINK tablets.
Further, he is also informed that when the ANMs and ASHAs are supplying the IFA PINK tablets to private schools, the management of Private schools are not allowing the health staf to supply the IFA PINK tablets and there by the IFA PINK tablets are not properly utilized in Private Schools.
Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and all the District Educational Ofcers in the State are requested to issue necessary instructions to all the Head Masters/ Headmistress of all managements under their jurisdiction for proper coordination with health staf on efective usage of IFA PINK tablets being supplied by the Health Department which helps to overcome the iron defciency in the children, for good health to the all School children in the State.
