School Education - SGFAP- Conduct of the school games for the year 2022-2023 - certain instructions - issued -breg Memo No.ESE02-33/36/2022-SECY-SGF-CSE Date: 13/10/2022
Ref: As per the Instructions of the Commissioner of School Education
All the District Vocational Educational Officers and District Educational Officers in the state are hereby informed that the school games of U14, 17 & 19 are going to start from 17-10-2022 to 10-11 2022. The schedule for the conduct of school games is as follows.
- 1. From 17-10-2022 to 20-10-2022 Mandal selections will be held in their restructured districts (26 districts) Under 14, 17
- 2. From 21-10-2022 to 22-10-2022 Constituency level selections will be held in their restructured districts (26 districts) - Under 14, 17
- 3. From 26-10-2022 to 10-11-2022 District level games will be held at erstwhile district (13 districts) - Under 14, 17 & 19
While conducting District level Games/Sports, the erstwhile District School Games Secretary will act as Member Convener and he shall constitute a selection committee for unbiased and transparent selections. He shall coordinate with the District School Games Secretaries of restructured districts.
Therefore all the District Vocational Educational Officers and District Educational Officers in the state are requested to issue necessary instructions to all the MEOS. DYEOs, and HMS to extend their cooperation in conducting the school games and ensure that the games are conducted successfully.
Important Note: Concerned HM and PET/ SA(PE) have to take responsibility for the students while sending them to participate in the Sports/Games.
